ROAR offers local recycling options in Glennallen at a 24-hour drop-off for office paper, mixed paper, newspaper, shredded paper, and aluminum cans.  Click here to learn more about what is recycled by ROAR.  The recycling transfer site is located at mile 188.6 Glenn Highway, across from Crowley.

ROAR facilities also serve as a transfer site for community drop-offs in Chistochina, Mentasta, Slana, Chitina, Gulkana, Gakona, Mendeltna, McCarthy and Tazlina.  
ROAR is operated with volunteer efforts by its Board of Directors, monthly sponsors, and other dedicated partners.  If you would like to volunteer or have questions, please email roar@cvalaska.net or call the ROAR hotline at 907.822.6777.
